The Biggest Wine Party of 2016
50 of Australia's most cutting edge winemakers pouring 100 wines
Saturday 19th November

Fifty of Australia's most cutting edge winemakers are coming to Melbourne on Saturday 19th November for Young Gun of Wine UNCUT, a wine tasting event that'll turn into the biggest wine party of 2016.

The event starts at 1:30pm with a tasting of around 100 wines by winemakers in contention for the 2017 Young Gun of Wine, whilst PBS and The Lucas Group's (Chin Chin, Hawker Hall, et al) resident DJ Miss Goldie provides a soul backdrop.

The perfect support act to all that wine, POW Kitchen and Cantina will be dishing up their take on South East Asian and Melbourne Tex Mex street food.

Harry & Frankie is joining the party, hosting tours to help guide you through the wines if you're looking for a slightly more educational experience. And Alquimie Magazine is there too, with a live exhibit from their latest edition.

The tating runs until 4:30pm. DJ Takse then serves up a disco set before winemaker rock band The Yeastie Boys get on. Bass guitarist, Bill Downie (William Downie wines) said they've been hard at work on this show, "We've rebuilt our amps to go to eleven, so if we need that extra push over the cliff, we can go one louder."

Matt Skinner, author and founder of The Drinks List, who started his career at the Prince's wine shop, said of the coming event to the Prince of Wales, "I've seen Lenny Kravitz, Henry Rollins, Ben Harper play there... So many great bands... And now the Bandroom gets to add The Yeastie Boys to that list. I can't wait!"

Don't miss your chance to taste, ralk and rock out with this massive lineup of Australia's best young winemakers.
