White Stripes is part of an ambitious dream to capture my five principal ‘passions’ - wine, music, friends, family and food! It is a true labour of love and like wine, only music can bring all of these loves together.

The purity of Pinot Grigio and the earthy grunge of Sangiovese from the Alpine Valley just north of King Valley captured my imagination. As a Victorian region synonymous with Italian varieties it was the perfect fit - for me there are no other cultures in the world that live for these same simple pleasures as I do quite like Italy.

These are serious wines without the pretentious waffle - complex yet fun, and most importantly provide the perfect harmony to some crusty bread, a hunk of salami and great company. Saluti! Callie
